Strings, vocals and sound design, ‘A Cabinet of Curiosities’ is just that. Beginning with a dancing, percussive woods and strings, the track falls rapidly to a foreboding of breath-like sound design and chopped, delayed spoken word. New elements of sound design emerge underneath a dark, repetitive, rhythmic section of strings before giving way to new, light bells and watery sounds. The curiosity is brought to an end with soft pads, strings, and a newly emerging interplay of haunting vocals and fairy light bells.
