A strong, minimalist signature of ethereal sound design, his music would emerge through learning and experimentation.
It wasn’t until late 2021 that LEFT WINTER would release his thoughts and interpretations of concepts as music.
Always wanting to head below the surface to search, communicate and captivate the imagination of others, his pursuit of the tools to move others through his music began in late 2018.
His strong minimalist signature of ethereal sound design would emerge through learning and experimentation, resulting in his first live performance (Berlin) and single releases in October and December 2021, with his third release and second live (Manchester) performance arriving in July 2022, and his third live (Berlin) performance in October 2022. His fourth release and live (Berlin) performance came in 2023, his first in Dolby Atmos.
His fifth track, and second in Dolby Atmos, Ran by Rivers and Streams, was released on December 15 2023 and followed up with his latest track Gymnopédie nº1, out on September 06 2024.
2025 was a year of writing the first parts of music for Abandoned Archive, as well as the short unreleased track ‘Dawn Lit Exhausted’.
Sitting in an unmastered state, you can listen to it here.

Gymnopédie nº1
Satie’s beautiful, flowing melody newly interpreted. Piano, strings and sound-design. Gymnopédie n°1 is a piece of music that is as simple as it is complex, and as beautiful as it is slow and painful.
A binaural mix / digital booklet
Listen again on all platforms and in Dolby Atmos on Apple Music and Tidal.
Ran by Rivers and Streams
Viola, cello and violin are punctuated with thumps and chinks of piano. A cadence of sound design that meanders and slices through frozen fields, rivers and streams of Central Europe, fading to notes that hang in the air as the train vanishes into the night.
A binaural mix.
Listen again on all platforms and in Dolby Atmos on Apple Music and Tidal.
Epilogue
Light, complex, multi-directional layers of violins, flutters of woodwinds and manipulated piano depict the tranquility of winter and an omnipresent risk of falling through ice.
Listen again on all platforms and in Dolby Atmos on Apple Music and Tidal.
Silk Graves
Mummified insects, trapped, drained and suspended in time! Three lifeless insects in their space of internment become Mother Nature’s crime scene set to a dark score of strings, brasses and ethereal sound for LEFT WINTER’S solo exhibition ‘Silk Graves’.

Düsseldorf
With December’s pure white snow covering the devil’s hand-twisted spire, ‘Düsseldorf’ is a short, carousel ride of bright bells and light air filled pads, as dark as it is romantic, with shards of harsh metallic glitches panning behind a deep, pulsing organ-esque baseline.

We Formed Ourselves Into Tight Groups
Paralysed by fear as the cold deep ocean around them turned red! String sections, subtle percussion, oceanic sound and military brass combine to form an instrumental, symphonic soundtrack of despair, fear, loneliness and hope!
